On 2nd June 2021, a COVID-19 vaccination clinic took place at Walsall Jamia Masjid Ghausia in Birchills, led by Walsall PCN North. It provided an opportunity for one of our COVID-19 Community Champions groups to get involved and support the clinic by:
Helping people to complete consent forms.
Providing interpretation for those that do not speak English as their first language.
Supporting residents with mental health.
In addition, the group spoke to over 100 people on the day about the COVID-19 vaccination.
Sureya from The MindKind Projects CIC explains more about how they supported the clinic.
